❌ impulsively buying workout DVDs on sale from a TV shop in an attempt to kick start my weight loss journey, which I ultimately didn’t even use once!
❌ doing expensive, painful, chemical-filled dermatological treatments and using prescription topical creams – not once, but multiple times over many years – to try and clear my acne, but it did not!
❌ using bitter-tasting nail varnish to try and stop my nail-biting habit and relieve anxiety, which it did not!
❌ and even skin firming creams to try and reduce my cellulite, which it definitely did not!
I totally hear you when you say these kinds of approaches are exhausting, frustrating, and ineffective!
So what’s the alternative?

Week 1 | Mindset | Monday, 31 March 2025
Shift your mindset, elevate your life
Our mindset is the starting point for improving our wellbeing. This module delves into the mind-body connection: how your thoughts and beliefs shape your daily choices and consequently also your health. We will explore how you can focus your energy, interpret your personal experiences, and use empowering language to reinforce behaviors and habits to support your wellbeing for the long-term. By shifting these mental patterns, you’ll create a foundation for lasting positive change.

Week 2 | Nutrition | Monday, 7 April 2025
Nourish to flourish: harnessing the power of nutrition
“Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates. What, when, how, and why you eat and drink play a critical role in your wellbeing. Like choosing the right fuel for your vehicle, your mind-body also requires the right nutrients to function optimally. This module covers why the quality and balance of your nutrition matters for your mental, emotional and physical health, and practical ways how you can upgrade it starting today.

Rest to be your best: optimizing health through recovery
Did you know there are multiple types of rest, with sleep being only one of them? Rest plays a vital role in our wellbeing, as it serves as the mind-body’s time to repair, restore, and reenergise. However, in our increasingly fast-paced, stress-laden world, both the quality and quantity of rest we get is often compromised in many ways. This module explores how you can incorporate different kinds of rest into your life more effectively, and thus optimize your mind-body’s essential restorative process.

The power of pause: managing stress for optimal health
In our increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous, fast-paced, and globalized world, stress is becoming increasingly prevalent both in and out of the workplace, and is now one of the leading causes of illness. This module explores the different types of stress, how it can manifest in your life on multiple levels, and effective techniques you can use to prevent and manage it.

The joy of movement: energize, strengthen, transform
Movement is a key pillar of our wellbeing, as it has been shown to increase both your healthspan and thereby your lifespan in multiple ways. This module covers how you can incorporate more movement into your days, how to choose the forms of movement that work for you, and how you can maintain it for the long-term.

Week 6 | Habits | Monday, 5 May 2025
The habit shift: small changes, big results
Nutrition, rest, stress management, mindset, and movement are some of the key building blocks of wellbeing, while habits are the cement that hold these blocks together as they enable us to sustain our wellness practices for the long-term. This module deep-dives into how to establish habits for the long-term, and thus maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Facilitator bio

Riikka Jalasvirta, MSc, IPHM
I am a Certified Holistic Lifestyle and Nutrition Coach, Advanced, from The MindBodyFood Institute in Australia, as well as a Member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine. I founded Infinnate Holistic Wellness – a holistic health coaching business – so that I could help empower individuals, groups, and organizations to vitality. My goal is to support you to become an empowered leader of your own life so you can supercharge your vitality and attain more joy, peace, and freedom. My approach is both proactive, addressing root causes of imbalance; as well as holistic, combining mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual elements. I support clients with various themes of wellbeing, including nutrition, movement, rest, stress, habits, productivity, career, purpose, creativity, fun, and leisure, among many others.
I have been engaged in the field of holistic wellness for over two decades after improving my own health, and through this journey I have gained a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of diet, lifestyle, the state of your internal environment, and overall wellbeing. I have a background in Occupational Health, Safety, Social and Environmental Management from the United Nations. I am also a Certified Reiki Healing Practitioner; an avid yogi, power-walker, dancer, and Pilates-goer; a former Zumba and aerobics instructor; and have a passion for healthy cooking.
